How Do I Get to Cook Out Lynchburg From US-29 or US-460?

The Wards Rd store is on US-29 Business (Wards Road) in the River Ridge and Liberty area, reached from the US-29/US-460 freeway via the Wards Road and Candlers Mountain Road interchanges. The Madison Heights store is on S Amherst Hwy (US-29 Business) north of the James River.

Directions from each direction

• From the south on US-29: US-29 follows Wards Road past Lynchburg Regional Airport. North of the US-460 interchange the road becomes US-29 Business, and the River Ridge and Liberty area, with the Cook Out, is just ahead.
• From Roanoke or Bedford on US-460: stay on the freeway into Lynchburg’s south side and exit toward Wards Road or Candlers Mountain Road for River Ridge and Liberty.
• From Charlottesville on US-29 south: the Madison Heights store comes first, in Amherst County before you cross the James River.
• From downtown: take US-29 Business across the James to Madison Heights, or the Lynchburg Expressway south toward Wards Road, depending on which side of downtown you are on.
